COMMISSIONS

Please read my TOS before inquiring! All the information you need for my work is there. Please note that I am someone with a job and my own place so I may not reply right away. I will respond to all inquiries within at least 3 days.

GENERAL SKETCHES - £25 (with background £50)

For anyone that wants art from me without paying me an arm and a leg, this is for you. A sketch featuring your requested character. (The examples above are not commissioned sketches and I intend to make client work more detailed and visually pleasing.) Work featuring 3+ characters is £15 per extra character.

Inked Pieces - £50 (With background £75)

Easy for me, and possibly aesthetically pleasing for you! An inked and borderline edgy piece of art for your needs. Work featuring 3+ characters is £30 per extra character.

GENERAL COLOUR - £75 (with background £100)

Just a coloured picture. Nothing more, nothing less! Work featuring 3+ characters is £30 per extra character.

COMICS - £150 MINIMUM (ASK)

This is definitely a varied kind of work and can be negotiated depending on what the client asks for, such as how many panels on a page and what is depicted. For this reason I don't have a character limit unlike the others, as background and character amounts are pretty much default for comic panels.

ANIMATION - ASK

Animation takes time, and plenty of money. The price will rise depending on the length of time and context you’d like it for. I will send continuous progress of this work, as if it’s a long one, it will take more than 2 weeks to complete, and may possibly be months. Progress will be shown with a watermark over the screen and will be removed upon completion and payment. This format may apply to loopable gifs and sprites.

The video below is an example of MOVEMENT. Final commissions for animation would include colour if requested by the commissioner.

Hey, I'm Duffy!I am a 25 year old gothic artist from the UK that loves horror, gaming, true crime, and rock music!I work as a full time Digital Designer with a 1st Class BA (Hons) in Animation. I am currently aspiring to create stories of my own, whether it be for the industry or simply as a fun hobby. I am currently working on obtaining my Masters Degree in Illustration & Animation for 2024 so I can be paid full time to do the work that I love.

COMMISSION Terms of Service

Payment is accepted through the following: Stripe, Ko-Fi.
I DO NOT take PayPal. They have and always will be unreliable. Stop asking me.
Base prices will rise if the details are extensive.
Haggling will get you blacklisted and blocked.

GENERAL TERMS

  • On average, it takes me around 2 weeks to finish a commission. This of course depends on complexity, edits, client communication and personal circumstances.

  • Deadlines within 2 weeks require a rush fee, starting at £25.

  • I DO NOT charge extra for two characters in an commission. However I do charge extra for 3+.

  • Please do not commission me if you are at financial risk. Repeated immediate requests for a refund will result in being blacklisted.

! By commissioning me, you are agreeing to my terms of service, which are subject to change at any time without personal warning !

STARTING YOUR COMMISSION

  • I may have begun sketching before payment has been received. I call these ‘previews’ and it’s an opportunity for the client to voice any changes to the work they would like before colouring. However, if the sketch is completed and approved, progress will pause until payment is received. Clients are always notified of this.

  • Details regarding design, pose, and expression must be established before I am paid. Sudden change of mind after the sketching stage has been completed will warrant a full fee for entirely new content, amount dependent on commission type.

  • Requested changes must be formatted in a list with all changes listed in one message.

  • Mistakes made on my behalf regarding design or anatomy will be edited without charge.

  • Partial refunds are permitted and will reflect the amount of work completed.

  • Edits made by others are permitted with the client’s approval.

  • Finished pieces are emailed to clients upon completion.

I WILL DRAW

  • Real people - Please send me either references or descriptions.

  • Humans & Humanoids - Note that my style is cartoonish. If you’re looking for the ‘anthro dog’ style, I may not be for you.

  • Body horror / gore - I like to define myself as somewhat of a horror artist, so this is a realm of content I am more lenient with doing. Severe forms of this will be posted to an alternate account.

  • Suggestive content - Something I am more lenient with depending on the character and the context. This content may be posted to an alternate account.

  • Non-sexual nudity - This is only acceptable for fictional characters that are canonically of age. This content may be posted to an alternate account.

  • Animals - Want me to doodle your pet? Go for it.

I WILL NOT DRAW

  • Sexualized minors - Any characters canonically underage will not be drawn in a lewd or fetishistic manner. Canonical aged up depictions of these characters are exempt from this rule.

  • Hateful / Ideological content - I may rarely draw political caricatures, but it’s not something I wish to specialize in. Political subjects or propaganda in itself will result in likely being refused unless it’s for a completely fictional context.

  • Works for NFT use

  • Works for AI use

I may reject a commission for any personal reason without disclosing. If it’s something that may not look good on a portfolio, it’s unlikely that i will draw it. Please inquire about anything unlisted.

USAGE

  • I retain the copyright to each image I create unless our contract specifies otherwise.

  • Commercial use (merchandise, prints, etc) of commissioned pieces is not permitted.

  • Tracing, editing commissioned work is not permitted unless you are the client.

  • Profiting from my work without a mutually consensual contract is prohibited and illegal.
